1914 5hp Petter Junior M type stationary engine with what is known as a "jelly mould" cylinder head.

 

Purchased from an auction at Branston near Lincoln in September 2017.

 

Found to be in rather rough condition having suffered frost damage an the piston becoming siezed from prvious damp storage conditions.

Despite this the engine is complete with its original water tank, stand and wooden bearers so is a worthy restoration project.
